Must have !

Have been using this App for a few weeks and just couldnt work without it. Great time saver. Should be part of OSX

Update?

This once perfect app is slow/buggy on Mavericks. Need to select twice before getting the PopClip menu and doesn’t work in iBooks :(

Musthave… acheter sans hésiter !

highly recommended

for everyone working in texts mainly with mouse or touchpad. Applescript available for keyboard-afficionados. There is an abundance of extensions available to cover any use you might want to put your selected texts to. Great synergy with CopyPastePro (Multi-Clipboard). Support by the developers is swift, on the spot.

There are a lot of superfluous apps...

…but this is not one of them. A wonderfully handy utility that is there when needed but does not get in the way.

Great app.

Workflow enhancement en masse. Also the ability to add extensions is quite nice.

Absolute must-have

As mentioned before, should be part of OS X itself. Works just perfectly well. Thanks!

Great & really helpful

nothing more to say

The best and most used app I ever had

Best app. Most productive. When I am using somebody else computer, I sometimes select something and wait till the pop-up appears. Nothing happens. Then I remember that I’d better use my computer. It’s so comfortable with this app!

Great …. but ...

… i need „Select Adress —> (BusyContacts) Adress(App)“.

Keeps getting better!

The spelling corrections showing up immediately is a welcome addition. Clicking in text fields seems much more fluid, as does the pop-up when selecting. Seriously, can NOT imagine my iMac without this app!

A super iOS feature reaching OS X

This is a great little app, giving us a glimpse to the future of OS X with the integration of iOS features. Once you’ve downloaded and installed PopClip, you’ll see an icon in your menu bar, which provides a whole host of ways to customize the copy/pasting experience. Not only does it look the part, but the little action menu automatically appears as soon as you highlight text – functioning in the same manner as the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch version. You may see that as rather intrusive, but it’s quite the opposite. It’s subtle, clean, and necessary – just like most of the features of iOS. It could be a little more affordable.

Really awesome

better than sliced bread. Go for it.

Très bonne idée !

Great idea ! But PopClip doesnt understand other languages than english concerning the definition of words (maybe because built-in MacOSX dictionary is like that also ?). -- Edit : some search on the web will provide you a way to add official other languages to OSX Dictionnary :-))) Otherwise this app make me win time, doesnt having to mess around with right click or keyboard shortcuts… didnt think I would need it… finally YES ! and I like the UI ;-) Thanks EDIT January 2012 : GIANT THANKS to the developper of PopClip for his help and time solving the usage of PopClip on a keyboard with a french "Bépo" layout. Sometimes we forget too easily that behind an app there is humans coding. Here is a good example of a great app with human touch ! EDIT Ver 1.4 : Support for extensions !! Wow !! Love the one using "translate tab" :-) PopClip is better and better at each upgrade and each time I think "it cannot become better now, everything is already there" and each time Im surprised by the evolution of it ! Cant wait for the next upgrade :-p

Great addition

Im usually wary when features are brought over to Mac OS from iOS but this one is great. I use it all the time. Anywhere I can select text I can do the things that are appropriate to the selected text without any other mouse clicks. A real time saver. I had a question about the screen delay and got an answer in less than 15 minutes. So add in excellent support and youve got a 5 star app. Update: Now this opens up a whole new range of possibilities. Very clever.

I use it all the time

A handy little app that I use all the time, especially to search for words and open links. I would love to see an (optional) clipboard history feature added to the Paste function. FYI: You can paste text plain by holding down the shift key when clicking Paste.
